*As this is a chilled drink more salt is used than with Hot Ginger Drink

 


      Ingredients for 4 persons

  • 190g rice amazake (1/2 jar)
  • 270ml water (3/4 jar)
  • 2 pinches of white sea salt*
  • 1/2 á 3/4 tsp. juice squeezed from freshly grated ginger root

 

  Icy Gingerdrink


    Method:

  1. Mix amazake, water and salt and bring to a boil
  2. Sieve to remove any amazake fibre and add the ginger juice
  3. Cool, then refrigerate to chill


   (*As the drink is served cold more salt an gingerjuice is needed compared to hot gingerdrink)
  • Serve chilled, this is nice and refreshing and relaxes you on hot summerdays
