Ingredients for 5 persons
380g rice or millet amazake (1 jar)
350ml water (1 jar)
100ml carrot juice for colouring (optional)
juice of 1 orange + some of the rind, grated
10g corn flour or kuzu (1 Tbsp.) + a little water to dissolve
a pinch of white sea salt
slices of orange or some chopped roasted nuts to garnish
Orange Custard
Method:
Mix all the ingredients except for the corn flour and bring to boil whilst stirring
Dissolve the corn flour in a little water then add to the hot sauce stirring until thick
Garnish with the orange slices or some crumbled nuts
