Ingredients for 4 or 5 persons

  • 380g rice or millet amazake (1 jar)
  • 350 ml water (1 jar)
  • 20 - 40 g almondspread (1 or 2 Tbsp.)
  • 5 g cornflour, or kuzu (1 tsp.)
    + a little water to dissolve
  • 2 pinches of white seasalt
  • garnish: roasted almond slices and strawberries

 

 
Almond Custard


     Method:

  1. Bring amazake, water, salt and almondpaste to boil while stirring
  2. Dissolve cornflour in some water to thicken
  • Garnish with the roasted almond slices and strawberries or serve with coffeedressing
